Mode of application

Sildenafil belongs to the class of PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing for increased blood flow and resulting in a harder, longer-lasting erection.

Application

The drug is usually prescribed to men between 18 and 64 years of age with ED caused by impotence or cardiovascular diseases (e.g., heart disease, angina, heart failure, peripheral artery disease).

Dosage

The recommended dose for most patients is 50 mg taken three times a day, as needed, with or without food. The doctor will decide the appropriate treatment based on factors such as blood pressure, age, flow strength and effectiveness.

Interaction

The effect of sildenafil on certain enzymes (such as CYP3A4) can be reduced by taking it at the same time each day. This will ensure that the effects of the drug are not affected by dehydration, so that the drug is still effective for up to four hours.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight (68°F). Keep away from direct sunlight (20-25°C).

Common side effects

Viagra Sildenafil has been associated with some cases of flushing, headache, and dizziness. If these occur, stop taking and seek medical help.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
